Our client is looking for an ESRI Roads and Highways Specialist. This is a remote position. You will be servicing their Transportation clients nationwide with GIS analysis, Esri software configuration, LRS data maintenance workflows, road inventory data development, location referencing transportation assets, business process re-engineering, dataset analysis, and integration of business systems.

Responsibilities 

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and training of Esri Roads and Highways
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of geodatabase and LRS schemas
• Assist and or lead in the design of data development and data maintenance workflows
• Create new spatial datasets from the analysis of existing datasets
• Provide support for GIS data conversion, systems integration, and applications configuration
• Curate, author, and publish maps, features, geoprocessing, and other REST-based services
• Test and document applications and systems functionality
• Design and implement system and users training plans
• Assist in the knowledge transfer of various aspects of the GIS software and data workflows
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with the use of GIS and related software
• Execute and assist in the development of quality control procedures and data validation checks
• Assist in the administration of Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online
• Create Python Scripts to enable automation of ArcGIS data production activities
• Develop and perform data quality analysis and quality control processes
• Support the client with technical skills to execute their mission
• Provide technical support to clients and fellow team members
• Participate in visioning/brainstorming sessions to identify and solve business problems
• Maintain currency GIS technology and best practices within the GIS community
• Support rapid requirement response with data analysis, geoprocessing prototypes, and solutions
• Participate in functional and business requirements gathering and system design meetings
• Ability to execute and understand geoprocessing/ETL models and scripts
• Attend project meetings as required and present to the client on task/work progress

Minimum Qualifications 

• B.S. in Computer Science, GIS, Information Systems, or related field required or certification
• 3+years’ experience working with GIS applications, specifically Esri Roads and Highways and other Esri solutions (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, Enterprise, & ArcGIS Online)
• Production experience of Collector for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Survey123, and mobile data collection workflows
