Job Overview:

As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and improving our operational processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and quality of our aerial mapping operations. This position will require a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on operational management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

·      Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

·      Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and optimize resources.

·      Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of operations.

Safety and Compliance:

·      Ensure that all aerial mapping operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

·      Develop and maintain safety protocols and guidelines for the team.

·      Regularly assess and improve safety procedures and training programs.

Resource Management:

·      Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and technology, to meet project requirements.

·      Monitor and control operational costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.

Quality Assurance:

·      Oversee the quality control process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected geospatial data.

·      Implement quality assurance procedures and standards, and continuously improve data collection and processing methods.

Project Management:

·      Collaborate with project managers to ensure the successful execution of aerial mapping projects.

·      Monitor project timelines and budgets to meet client expectations.

Team Development:

·      Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing operations team.

·      Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.

Stakeholder Communication:

·      Serve as a key point of contact for clients, partners, and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear and effective communication.

·      Address client concerns and inquiries in a professional and responsive manner.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geospatial Science, Engineering, Business).

·      Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the geospatial, aerial mapping, or related industry.

·      Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.

·      Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the aerial mapping sector.
