GeoSearch's client is actively seeking a Project Surveyor who holds a PLS license in Kansas! The successful candidate will guide the technical execution of projects ranging from boundary and topographic surveys to ALTA, right-of-way, and construction support. You’ll work directly with clients, internal teams, and staff in the field and office to ensure deliverables meet expectations and promote professional growth throughout your team.  

The ideal candidate will reside in Kansas City, KS but we are also open to remote workers for this role!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets for a variety of survey projects  
• Perform research and calculations in multiple jurisdictions  
• Lead QA/QC for deliverables across boundary, control, and construction-related surveys  
• Build and maintain client relationships within the region  
• Coordinate with other business units on integrated project delivery  
• Mentor and support field and office staff to advance their development within the profession 

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of Kansas with authority to review, approve, seal, and sign boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS surveys. 
• 5-10 years of relevant survey experience
• Ability to independently manage projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders  
• Experience mentoring junior staff and directing technical work  
• Proficiency with CAD and land surveying software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads)  
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
