Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Operations team. This role leads the end-to-end delivery of data and mapping projects, ensuring that project goals and timelines are achieved.

The ideal candidate brings experience working with Local Governments and / or Departments of Transportation (DOTs) and has a strong understanding of how spatial data translates into operational decisions. Acting as the bridge between our Sales, Operations, and Data teams, this person ensures that each project is delivered efficiently, accurately, and to the client’s satisfaction.

This is a hybrid internal and external-facing role that manages client communications, monitors project progress, and ensures alignment between customer expectations and internal execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical execution and delivery of projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget to achieve planned margins.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients on technical details and maintain regular communication through meetings, calls, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with Sales to support project scoping, pricing, and a seamless transition into delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Project Management, Data, Operations, and Technical Services) to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and track project progress, proactively resolving issues and maintaining alignment with client goals.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and agreed-upon specifications.
  • Interpret and communicate customer requirements to internal teams, ensuring data outputs meet end-user needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, GIS, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project delivery experience in geospatial, data, or technology environments.
  • Experience working with state or local Departments of Transportation preferred.
  • Proficiency with GIS software and strong understanding of 3D environments, feature extraction, and geospatial data workflows.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
