The Director of Services leads the services division, overseeing the development and delivery of integrated leasing and subscription models for hardware and software solutions in the security space. This role strategizes product packaging, manages partnerships, and ensures operational excellence to drive customer satisfaction and business growth, while preparing for future service expansions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for services division, including leasing models for integrated hardware and software solutions to meet market demands in security and related sectors.
- Lead the launch and scaling of service offerings, coordinating with internal teams to package products like hardware systems, autonomous hubs, and monitoring services.
- Manage key partnerships with software providers and outsourced teams to ensure seamless integration, incentivized sales, and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee operational aspects of the division, including service contracts, customer onboarding, and performance monitoring to optimize efficiency and customer experience.
- Build and lead a services team, providing training, performance evaluations, and resource allocation to support division goals.
- Conduct market analysis and risk assessments to identify opportunities for new service expansions and mitigate potential challenges in leasing models.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and contract terms, including data privacy and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Track division KPIs (e.g., subscription retention, revenue growth from services) and provide strategic reports to leadership for decision-making.
- Foster customer relationships through feedback mechanisms, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance loyalty.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement to align services with overall business strategies and promote integrated offerings.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in managing a services division for hardware products in the security or related industries, with 5+ years required, including 3+ years in a leadership role; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of leasing/subscription models, partnership management, and service delivery in tech/hardware environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools, CRM systems, and analytics software for tracking performance and operations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to build teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with integrated security solutions involving hardware, software, and monitoring services.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP), supply chain, or security operations (e.g., ASIS CPP).

- Occasional travel for partner meetings or site visits may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
$120,000 - $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, based on Los Angeles market rates for a full-time role, with health, dental, vision insurance, and retirement plans as per company policy.
