The Warehouse Operations Coordinator serves as the on-site execution lead in the warehouse, combining core warehouse functions (inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, receiving) with direct support to the Purchasing Director and Customer Service Manager. This hybrid role ensures real-time accuracy, fast resolution of customer and procurement issues, and seamless execution of tasks requested by remote leaders, contributing to operational reliability and customer satisfaction in the enterprise drone/UAS market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, inspect for damage/quantity discrepancies, and report issues to the Purchasing Director immediately.
  • Update inventory records in real time in the warehouse management system after receiving, counting, or fulfilling orders.
  • Check order status, locate specific items, and provide updates/photos to the Customer Service Manager for customer inquiries or escalations.
  • Process returns received at the warehouse: inspect items, restock or quarantine as directed, update records, and coordinate with Customer Service for refunds/credits.
  • Execute ad-hoc tasks requested by the remote Purchasing Director (e.g., product photos, serial number checks, sample pulls, quality spot-checks).
  • Execute ad-hoc tasks requested by the remote Customer Service Manager (e.g., order holds/releases, expedited packing, special labeling).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with safety and company standards.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and preparation for audits as directed.
  • Document and communicate warehouse activities, discrepancies, and resolutions daily to keep remote leaders informed.


Qualifications:

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on warehouse experience, including inventory management, pick/pack/ship, receiving, and cycle counting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and professionally with remote managers via phone, email, chat, and photo/video sharing.
  • Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), scanners, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting remote leaders or cross-functional teams in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment (Shopify, ShipStation) or hardware/electronics products.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.


Compensation and Benefits:

$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience, based on Los Angeles market rates for a full-time role, with health, dental, vision insurance, and retirement plans as per company policy.
