Our client has hired us to recruit a dynamic professional to join their Dallas-based surveying team with potential to grow into a national leadership role within this expanding land surveying business. Overview:

Seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to lead a team in delivering high-volume land survey projects. This role involves supervising staff, managing project workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor survey staff; oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage land survey projects, including scheduling, staffing, and consultant coordination.
• Ensure accuracy of field data, calculations, and final deliverables.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Communicate project goals and updates to leadership and clients.
• Maintain compliance with state statutes, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
• Support business development efforts and foster client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Licensed RPLS in Texas (additional states preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in both field and office surveying.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson, ArcGIS, GPS, total stations, and lidar.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to scale operations nationally.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
