GeoSearch is currently recruiting for a C++ developer to join our client's growing R&D team focused on lidar, 3D, and advanced geospatial data processing. The ideal candidates will have advanced C++ development skills, including point cloud processing in 2D and 3D engine development and geospatial data processing. The selected candidates will be involved in architecting and developing our client's next-generation software engine. 

We are looking for savvy and enthusiastic developers, who have a passion for the GIS industry to help us develop advanced products to solve real-world problems. 

Position Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or other science;
• a minimum of 5 years of experience in C++ software development in a Windows environment;
• experience with MFC, .NET technologies, and Java; 
• experience with GIS and lidar and/or advanced 2D/3D mathematical geodesy processes (preferred);
• knowledge of Microsoft VC++ (2010, 2012, 2013, 2015), with MFC and the .NET framework (preferred); and
• cross-platform development skills using the GNU C compiler, or experience with the Qt toolkits (preferred).
