Our client helps leverage location intelligence and enterprise GIS to improve operations and achieve complex data management and analysis workflows. This position will support their growing practice for installing, upgrading, and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise. Their partners include world renowned non-profit and mission driven organizations, state and local government agencies, and commercial clients.

You’ll be working closely with the internal team and clients to deploy secure, resilient, and scalable GIS infrastructure, data pipelines, as well as maintain existing infrastructure. Our ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver and communicator. You will be expected to apply your understanding of enterprise GIS and cloud architecture to deploy new applications and infrastructure while ensuring the uptime of existing systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect and deploy and configure ArcGIS Enterprise in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, and on premises environments to support enterprise GIS installations and data-centric applications.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, developers, GIS analysts, and other stakeholders to understand client needs and architect appropriate enterprise GIS solutions.
• Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and knowledge transfers to understand system requirements and handoff completed solutions.
• Supporting migrations and upgrades of ArcGIS Enterprise installations
• Deploy and configure geodatabases in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Advise clients in best practices for administering and maintaining enterprise GIS.
• Support integration of ArcGIS Enterprise with other enterprise platforms
• Maintain existing infrastructure to ensure uptime including monitoring, patching, and regular license updates.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in installing and configuring ArcGIS Enterprise
• Hold a certification from Esri as Enterprise System Design Professional, Enterprise Geodata Management Professional, or Enterprise Administration Professional
• Proven ability to solve problems in collaboration with a team of Dev-Ops engineers, GIS Analysts, and QA as well as with business stakeholders
• Experience administering relational databases is a plus
• Certification from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s in computer science, GIS, geography, data science, or related field
