Chelsea Bonini

VP of Recruiting Operations

With GeoSearch since 2015. At her best on the highly specialized roles that take patience and persistence to fill.

Bio

Chelsea Bonini has been with GeoSearch since 2015, and as VP of Recruiting Operations she's built her reputation on the roles that test everyone's patience. Highly specialized positions tend to take longer to fill — and that's exactly where Chelsea does her best work, staying persistent and adaptable when a search gets complicated.

She starts by getting to know people. With a client, she wants the full picture of what the company needs; with a candidate, she wants to understand their background and situation so she can match their skills to the right kind of role. Clients describe her as a reliable, adaptable communicator and a strong team leader — someone who builds trust and follows through. Candidates say she listens, gets the whole story, and supports them through the entire process.

After hundreds of hours talking with clients and candidates and years of attending industry events, Chelsea understands these roles the way an outside recruiter can't — the technical skills they require and the soft skills that make someone actually fit.

Where she's at her best

Chelsea thrives on highly specialized searches — the ones that take longer and demand real persistence. The harder a role is to fill, the more her research, depth of screening, and adaptability pay off.

A placement she's proud of

One client came with extreme compliance regulations that made the search far more complex than usual. It took serious up-front research and deep screening conversations to find the right person — but the effort was worth it. Both the candidate and the company were thrilled with the match.

In her words

"I get excited every day to talk with candidates who are so deeply motivated to excel at what they do. That passion is what keeps me in geospatial."

What she brings

Chelsea came to recruiting from customer service, where problem-solving, building trust, and working as a team were the whole job. The move into recruiting was a natural one — she uses those same skills to build rapport with clients and candidates from the first conversation to the final offer.

Beyond work

Outside work, Chelsea is married with two kids and a dog. She likes working out, reading, and Mexican food.
