Senior GIS Technologist

Our highly reputable client is seeking a Senior GIS Technologist to work a hybrid schedule in their Houston, TX office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall health of a GIS technical solution, or specific components of the solution
• Act as the team expert in geospatial information management: imagery, spatial data management, design, and modeling.
• Utilize GIS best practices and principles
• Esri ArcGIS suite including ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, WebApp Builder, Python, and FME
• Gathering and analyzing geospatial requirements
• Conducts technology evaluations
• Produces and implements geospatial data management strategies
• Implements aspects of the physical design
• Oversees the translation of design into deliverables via implementation and deployment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related
• 5 plus years of experience with Esri suite of products
• Expert in Esri, GIS, geospatial data management
