Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to make an immediate impact on our team supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)’s Janus programs. A Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and success of projects/tasks to include staff oversite and management, meeting facilitation and attendance, documentation of the work plan, status reporting, scheduling, assignment of tasks, and Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of all deliverables. Project Managers are responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L) of the assigned business sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects and scope.

· Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules and provide project reports to senior management as required.

· Schedule personnel to effectively complete projects.

· Manage staff and performs employee reviews.

· Work with Project Control Analyst to ensure projects are properly defined in Unanet, including budgets, staff assignments, and EAC estimates.

· Communicate with the Production Manager and other Project Managers to ensure staff utilization.

· Work with the Program Manager and VP of Programs to successfully meet all business sector goals.

· Establish and cultivate client and professional relationships that create repeat business, referrals, professional references, and partnerships.

· Review potential projects and develops the technical design, direction, and approach via the RFP process and company procedures.


· Five or more years of experience supporting NGA’s Janus or GEOINT Data Services (GDS) programs.

· Experience developing and maintaining multiple simultaneous project plans, budgets, and schedules and effectively presenting reports to senior management.

· Experience with common Foundation GEOINT products and schemas including but not limited to TDS, MGCP, AFD, AAFIF, GeoNames/GNDB, and VO/DVOF.

· Current/Active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one upon employment.


· Local to Athens, AL or St. Louis, MO or willing to relocate.

· Experience extracting, manipulating, and exploiting spatial datasets using ArcGIS (v10.x).

· Experience compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

· Experience developing automated scripts, tools, or programs with common programming languages including but not limited to Python, SQL, Java, C#, and Visual Basic.

· Experience with product assembly (hard copy) methods and processes including the creation of TLM, MTM, JOG, and TPC.

· Knowledge of programs of other federal agencies including but not limited to AGC, NAVFAC, USACE, and USGS.

· Certification from an accredited professional society or organization.

Physical Demands:

· Duties are performed in an office environment.

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.

· The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

· The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information.

· Must be able to identify and distinguish colors, distances, and spatial relationships.
