GeoSearch, Inc. is actively recruiting for a Data Acquisition Manager who will be responsible for the planning, execution and performance of multiple data acquisition projects across the US, managing all equipment, quality control, and safety of field personnel and ensuring they have the skills, resources and support to effectively carry out their day to day operations.

Specific Responsibilities:

Project Management

Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources
Prepare and update project schedules and activity tracking including project timeline estimation and task assignments
Review and revise quality control processes to meet customer expectations
Develop standard processes and documentation required for project executions
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of project tasks, progress, scope changes and communication internally and externally.
Support and track change management activities in project scope
Manage an operations group of 20-30 people across the country and coordinate with internal resources internationally
Coordinate and support technical resources and equipment for: maintenance, updates, incident tracking, and internal scheduling
Optimize and prioritize resources to exceed key KPI’s for project success

Communication and Reporting

Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to various audiences including project team, sponsors, senior management, and customers
Prepare and submit regular project status reports
Respond to management inquiries and issues in a timely manner
Coordinate proactively with cross-functional teams to maximize productivity and profitability
Plan, schedule and document team meetings to discuss project progress and issue status reports with follow-up and related responsibility

Team Building and Coordination

Recruit, train and maintain key personnel for project success
Ensure safety practices are followed to create a healthy and positive working environment
Manage field staff effectively to execute assigned projects
Identify resource requirements for various projects and provide suggestions for continued improvement
Collaborate with departmental managers to recruit and train various employees

Additional Responsibilities

The flexibility to travel in the field for up to 3 weeks at a time
Support sales-related initiatives, including proposals and new customer acquisition.
