  • Expert level aptitude with ArcGIS and various open-source platforms.
  • General knowledge of the state of the industry trends, especially regarding cloud-based and online geospatial solutions
  • Strong aptitude in database management, especially SQL, with Microsoft Access experience also valued.
  • Prior experience in mineral exploration is highly valued, and some background in geology is also preferred.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Work well in the small, nimble, start-up type environment
  • Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for the geospatial components of the client’s business, including helping design company protocols and working with geologists to ensure systematic implementation
  • Creative, problem solver, ability to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives in client's business. i.e how to maximize current technologies to aid cost-effectiveness and efficiency of Clients day to day operations.



  • Overhaul a large geospatially linked database system derived from government data in a legacy Oracle database.
  • Implement field tablet-based system for the client's team
  • Manage companies geochemical database (locations as well as analytical data stored in a linked SQL DB)
  • Periodically organize and maintain project-specific file structures, including geospatial and non-geospatial datasets.
