SALARY: $6,079 - $7,354.00/month
The City of Fresno is currently recruiting for a dynamic Airports Operations Supervisor. Under supervision from the Airports Operations Manager, incumbents perform advanced and complex duties related to Airport operations management, inspections, and compliance; plan, coordinate, supervise and evaluate the work of assigned staff; maintain department compliance, and monitor and interpret a variety of federal, state and local airport regulations for updates, policy changes, and new regulations. Monitors and inspects the airfield, terminal, perimeter,
grounds and personnel to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Airport rules and regulations, and reports deficient conditions for correction.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
As required by Emergency Order 2021-02, section 7.8, newly hired City employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. - Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Science, Airport Management, or closely related field; AND
- Two (2) years of experience in airport operations, which includes compliance and facility inspections. Acceptable experience is defined as working at a FAR Part 139 airport performing duties associated with compliance with Part 139 and Part 1542 regulations.

UNIT 13 Classification – City of Fresno Professional Employees Association (FCPEA)
RETIREMENT: Fresno City Retirement System, is one of the best-funded public systems in the state. Reciprocity with other public California systems. The City does not participate in Social Security. Vested in Retirement benefits after 5 years of service.

HOLIDAYS: Ten (10) City-observed annual holidays plus birthdays and one (1)personal day.
LIFE INSURANCE: Benefit equal to annual salary; premium paid by The City of Fresno.
LONG-TERM DISABILITY: Benefit equal to 66.66% of monthly salary up to $7,500 per month after 30 days of disability; premium paid by The City.
