Lidar Account Executive
Our client is looking for a Business Development/LiDAR Sales Specialist (LLS) to manage the Business Development and Sales activities of clients throughout a vertical market (such as engineering, government, mining, environmental, transportation), while maintaining alignment with the company's strategy and vision. The LSS is expected to be aggressive when prospecting new opportunities and clients; identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve both short and long-term sales opportunities; exceed revenue targets by closing opportunities; and promptly and professionally address the needs of customers. The successful candidate can be located in any US State.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with senior leadership to develop a key account strategy that aligns with corporate targets, capacities, objectives and strategic initiatives
· Manage the sales funnel from first contact with the customer to handoff to operations to execute
· Initiate, lead and assist with sales strategy and guide content, layout and branding of all proposals, and requests for information (RFI’s)
· Assist with the design and implementation of client solutions for proposals to ensure they meet customer needs and provide the best possible customer service
· Continually seek out new opportunities to raise the standard of our proposal submissions
· Work with the leadership team to effectively utilize our CRM to manage their prospects, contacts, and key performance indicators (KPI’s)
· Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan for assigned key accounts
· Build relationships with clients and consultants at senior decision making levels
· Lead and maintain external communications (articles, website, presentations, social media, etc.) to the highest standard
· Work in conjunction with the Operations team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and client retention
· Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a courteous, professional manner
Qualifications:
· Direct experience in selling to decision makers for LiDAR and imagery collection services is a must
· A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field is preferred. The related fields could include Geomatics, Geography, Mapping, Survey
· 3+ year's hands on Business Development experience.
· Advanced knowledge of the sales process and have the ability to close and negotiate deals
· Aggressive in prospecting new opportunities and or clients
· Diligent in managing a sales pipeline
· Proven closer
· Proficiency with Salesforce or Hubspot CRM, Target Account selling or similarly structured sales/CRM systems
· Ability to develop strong relationships with clients to ensure continual business growth within the company
· Possess a large number of contacts within continental US in any of the energy, engineering, legal survey, and government agencies fields
· A self-starter with excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities as well as follow up on pipelines and opportunities as required in order to win new business
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills, with highly refined presentation skills
· Actively involved in industry and community associations and events
· Marketing and proposal writing experience
· Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM)
· A demonstrated track record of success in a previous role delivering the key accountabilities noted above
