This exciting position requires experience in airborne lidar acquisition operations. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with mainstream commercial airborne lidar sensors such as RIEGL, Leica, and Teledyne Optech, as well as large-format cameras used in fixed-wing platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a strong conceptual understanding of fixed-wing airborne sensor operations and logistics. Experience in coordinating multiple project acquisitions and managing sensor operator rotations is advantageous. Additional preferred experience includes collaboration with sensor hardware vendors and aviation operators, as well as overseeing the installation and removal of sensors from aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and troubleshoot sensor operations

- Coordinate field operations and aircraft schedules

- Create flight plans and manage data quality checks

- Communicate progress to management

- Manage sensor operators and equipment

Required Experience:

- 5+ years in GIS/Remote Sensing

- 2+ years in airborne lidar acquisition

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Strong communication skills

Preferred Experience:

- Working with lidar sensors (RIEGL, Leica, Teledyne Optech)

- Coordinating multiple projects and sensor rotations

- Experience with topographic/bathymetric lidar and other airborne sensors

- Certified Hydrographer or ASPRS certifications
