We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director Unmanned Solutions North America to join our Unmanned division as part of the sales leadership team responsible for North America. Reporting directly to the VP Sales Unmanned, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our customer base in North America across diverse industries, with a particular focus on surveying and utilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, preferably with experience in the utilities sector and a deep understanding of the importance of high-resolution imagery for inspection and surveying purposes.


The candidate can be based anywhere in the US, with a preference for locations with easy access to major transportation hubs and industry hotspots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets in North America.
  • Lead and manage a regional sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team targets are met or exceeded.
  • Hands-on mentality in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their specific needs and providing solutions that align with their business goals and requirements.
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers in target industries such as utilities, oil and gas, renewables drone mapping and surveying.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our standalone cameras
  • Understand customer requirements, provide expert advice on product selection, and propose tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including technical support and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of products, services, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies in the unmanned and imaging fields.
  • Monitor and analyze global sales performance metrics, generating regular reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement across various markets
  • Attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent and actively network with potential customers and partners.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales leadership roles, preferably within the unmanned solutions industry or a related technical field.
  • Experience in drone mapping, photogrammetry, and related geospatial applications. Understanding of the utilities sector, with a focus on grid maintenance and inspection, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet customers and attend industry events as needed.
