We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Unmanned division as an integral part of our EMEA sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director Unmanned for EMEA & Americas, you will take charge of driving sales and expanding our customer base in the EMEA region. Your primary focus will be on diverse industries, particularly utilities, with an emphasis on drone-based inspections of power masts and powerlines. If you're a sales enthusiast with a strong background, preferably in utilities, and a profound appreciation for high-resolution imagery's significance in inspections, we'd like to hear from you.


´╗┐Location: Various locations within Europe, with proximity to transportation hubs and industry centers preferred


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to surpass sales targets within the EMEA region.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new clients within target industries, including utilities, oil and gas, renewables, and drone mapping.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with key accounts and channel partners, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops to spotlight the capabilities and advantages of our standalone cameras gimbals
  • Grasp client needs, offer expert product advice, and propose customized solutions tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including technical support and marketing, to ensure seamless product delivery, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, competitors, and emerging technologies in the unmanned and imaging sectors.
  • Attend pertinent industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent while actively networking with potential clients and collaborators.
  • Prepare precise sales forecasts, reports, and market analyses, providing regular updates to the Sales Director Unmanned.


´╗┐Your Qualifications:


  • A proven track record in sales, with a preference for experience in unmanned, imaging, or related technology industries.
  • Understanding and experience in the utilities sector, with a particular focus on grid maintenance and inspections, is highly advantageous.
  • Previous engagement with Transmission System Operators (TSOs) is a significant asset.
  • Familiarity with drone-based inspections of power masts and powerlines within the utilities sector.
  • Strong grasp of the significance of high-resolution imagery in inspection applications.
  • Experience in drone mapping, photogrammetry, and related geospatial applications is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective rapport-building and influence with key stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
  • Robust organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region to meet clients and participate in industry events as needed.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
