Project Manager
Overview:
The Implementation Project Manager is truly the band leader that ensures our new customers are up and running in their new cloud environment in a timely, well-organized, and professional way.
- Critical tasks: Sales to Project: The PM gathers all required knowledge from the sales team needed to understand the scope of the implementation. This information exists on salesforce.com.
- Planning: PM will define the team that will work on the project and create a project plan in Salesforce.com.
- Execution: As the face of the implementation team, the PM will lead communication for each project and track work to ensure all parties are current on the progress and requirements throughout the implementation.
- The Hand-Off: The PM will orchestrate the handoff to the Managed Services Team (ongoing support) once the implementation is complete.
Critical skills:
- Problem-Solving to resolve issues and diplomatically push through roadblocks.
- Managing a variety of personalities working as the liaison between the internal team and the customer, you must advocate for both while keeping the project on task - Knowing how to motivate your internal team while keeping each of our customers happy.
- Effectively Lead Meetings
- Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact directly with customers who do and do not have an IT background.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects in various stages at once.
Experience:
- 5+ years of Technical Project Management Role
- Salesforce.com experience is a bonus
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software, specifically ArcGIS Desktop, Pro, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online.
- Python Scripting experience is a bonus.
- Experience with cloud architecture and components including compute, storage, and networking, as well as scripting experience (tools, process, methods, troubleshooting) and deployment concepts, such as continuous integration
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
