Survey Office Technician - CAD Technician
GeoSearch, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Survey Office Technician. Our client specializes in large municipal survey projects ranging from DOT, Water/Wastewater, rails/trails and more! Our client offers excellent benefits and a competitive compensation package!
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drafts boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction
surveys.
Assist the Project Manager with all aspects field crew preparation.
Processes field collection files and database maintenance.
Prepares digital terrain models and contouring.
Responsible for deed, plat & document research, title & easement review.
Prepares as-built, boundary, topographic, tree & utility survey deliverables.
Works in the field on as-needed basis and maintains a general understanding of safe traffic procedures.
Works independently as required.
Continually advances knowledge with upgrades in technology.
Follows policies and procedures to insure all work is done accurately and efficiently.
Completes his/her timesheet daily and submits it promptly for weekly review and approval.
Attends meetings in and out of the office, including Safety Meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
1+ years of experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proficiency with the use of data collection software and survey equipment (GPS, Robotics, Total Stations, Levels,
and Data Collectors).
Valid driver’s license.
Strong collaboration skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong computer and data collector skills.
Strong mathematical skills
Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
