We are looking for a GIS Analyst with strong database skills who is passionate about delivering projects with a positive impact to join our team. The successful candidate will be both independent and collaborative and possess the desire to continuously learn and teach others about the latest technologies. You'll work with a talented team to analyze spatial data and build modern web GIS applications that have a direct impact on our clients and their global missions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Developing and administering spatial databases for GIS analysis, data management, and visualization including versioning, replication, and migration workflows
• Preparing GIS data for use in web mapping applications (especially ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS)
• Working with parcel data and geocoding services
• Support building backend data workflows and custom integrations for the latest ArcGIS Solutions and Esri Configurable Applications
• Working with clients to acquire and process data and setup map documents
• Data creation and mining for existing, industry-standard national, state and local datasets
• Mentoring and teaching more junior analysts

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of professional experience working in the GIS industry
• Experience working with Enterprise relational databases (SQL Server, PostGreSQL)• Strong understanding of the ArcGIS REST API
• Python development skills: Professional experience writing custom scripts with Python 3.x
• Scripting GIS tasks with Python (ArcPy,numpy, pandas, ArcGIS API for Python)
• Publishing and configuring web services in ArcGIS enterprise or online
• Esri suite experience including ArcGIS Pro and extensions, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, Image Server)
• Knowledge of latest geospatial cloud technologies needed for building modern web GIS applications
• Knowledge of Arcade Expressions is a plus
• Ability to participate in a fast paced, highly collaborative, team environment; Strong oral and written communication skills
• Keen interest in learning new technology (especially interactive web mapping applications); interest or knowledge of cloud technologies a plus
• Bachelor or Master degree in Geography/GIS or related discipline; or equivalent experience
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
