This is an\u00a0increase from 16% in last year\u2019s survey.\u00a0 Looking at only workers between 18 and 34 years old, 30% expect to have a new job by the end of 2016, up from 23% last year.\u00a0 The survey also found 34% of employees are regularly searching for job opportunities, even though they\u2019re currently employed, up from 30% last year.<\/p>\n<p>Just because a person is satisfied with their job doesn\u2019t necessarily mean they aren\u2019t looking for new work,\u201d said Rosemary Haefner, chief human resources officer at CareerBuilder. \u201cBecause of this, it\u2019s critical to keep up with your employees\u2019 needs and continue to challenge them with work they feel is meaningful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked what factors rank as more important than salary when considering a position, responses included:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin: 5px 0px !important; list-style-position: outside !important; list-style-image: initial !important; padding: 0px 0px 0px 3em !important;\">\n<li>Job stability: 65%<\/li>\n<li>Affordable benefits: 59%<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 3px !important; margin-right: 0px !important; margin-left: 0px !important; list-style: outside disc !important; padding: 0px 0px 0px 5px !important;\">Location: 56%<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 3px !important; margin-right: 0px !important; margin-left: 0px !important; list-style: outside disc !important; padding: 0px 0px 0px 5px !important;\">Good boss: 51%<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 3px !important; margin-right: 0px !important; margin-left: 0px !important; list-style: outside disc !important; padding: 0px 0px 0px 5px !important;\">Good work culture: 46%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When asked if they could choose extra perks to make their workplace more satisfying, the most popular choices workers pointed to include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Half-day Fridays: 38%<\/li>\n<li>On-site fitness center: 23%<\/li>\n<li>Daily catered lunches: 22%<\/li>\n<li>Massages: 18%<\/li>\n<li>Being able to wear jeans: 16%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em style=\"position: relative;\">From Staffing Industry Analysts December, 2015<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; More than one-fifth of employees, 21%, plan leave their current employers in 2016, according to a survey from CareerBuilder.
